Hello, we are great full for the great work that is taking place here at the Biotech and Research Club
recently we had the following;
Industrial training presentations.
Three weeks back the club had an industrial presentation program which lasted for half a day.
In this presentation people presented what they did during there training.
some of the things presented were; serology, molecular Biology.
some video were shown like bag gardening video in Uganda and mushroom substrate preparation
Aquaponics
we are happy about the progress of the project.
we managed to get 11 catfish of which three died in the process of adapting to the tank conditions
The cleaning of the tanks was very tiresome but we thank all those that supported us during the activity.
Ecology of Kyambogo Project
Preparations for this project are going on intensely and we are happy to inform you that we will have our meeting with the members of this project on Wednesday at 4:00pm - 5:00pm
Mushroom project
We have had success in the mushroom culturing stage but the mother spawning stage is has not yet worked out.
Bag Gardening Project
This project is successful and we about to harvest some of the plants in three weeks time
thanks to the people who have offered help.
