Biotech and Research Club is an Academic and Social Club of Kyambogo University, Uganda.
It is involved in various activities like Biotechnology, Entomology, Pathology, Microbiology among others.
The club was formed in 2005 and it was the first club to be formed in Kyambogo University.
The club was originally known as Kyambogo University Biology Research association comprising of departments like Biology, Chemistry,Environment which later split up in 2007 to the respective Departments
Our vision as a Club
- To improve scientific skills attained during the course.
- To improve interpersonal skills among the club members
- To create job creators and not seekers
- To provide practical experience in different fields of science
- To collaborate with different scientific research institutions
